It’s that time of the year when a bunch of young adults have enrolled in universities. Most of them must be thrilled or perhaps nervous about everything that the future holds. So, we are here with 5 life-hacks to ease college life.
Life-hack #1 – Make your Bucket List
Do you want to go for Trekking or a Solo Europe Trip?
Maybe want to do an internship at Google
or want to learn a Foreign Language.
Write down all of your far-fetched dreams. Work hard to achieve them during your college life because it is the time to explore and learn. Honestly, once you graduate there will be even less time for your dreams and most of the time will be taken up by ‘adulting’.
Life-hack #2 – Update your wardrobe
In college, most of the students try to be updated with trending fashion. Also, there are so many events that one has to attend throughout the year. So, update your wardrobe or make something unique for yourself to stay away from fashion police.
Life-hack #3 – Make Contacts
The contacts you make in college will help you in different phases of life. For example, seniors could help you pick up the best elective course, a professor could write a letter of recommendation (if you ever need one) and a bunch of friends are always needed.
So you must attend orientation programmes, fresher parties, departmental get-togethers and club meetings. Don’t forget to make meaningful contacts!
Life-hack #4 – Record voice notes
Use technology smartly. Record voice notes of class lectures. This way, you can go back to amazing class discussions by just listening to those voice recordings.
Life-hack #5 – Don’t be overwhelmed with the knowledge
At times, some students find a gap between what they studied in 12th class and what they study in college. So, remember that it is normal to get overwhelmed with all the knowledge which is bombarded at you in the first year of college. Just take one day at a time. Keep learning.
College life is like a roller coaster ride. Everyone goes through the ups and downs of life. So, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and never stop learning.
